There’re just moments that make me wanna punch Sherlock in the face. {tab}

I was so angry at how Sherlock talked to Mycroft here….and look at Mycroft’s face :’(

there is seriously so much to unpack in that expression. mycroft is sad. he’s tired. he’s done so much to protect sherlock, and he gets pushed aside. he knows, though, that it’s the shame of the addict that has sherlock lashing out at him like this. he knows that sherlock needs him. he’s resigned to his brotherly duty, and his heart is breaking for sherlock.

he would give anything for sherlock’s disdain to be genuine, and not a defense mechanism to hide his embarrassment and pain. he wishes that sherlock loved himself as much as mycroft loves him. he hopes for a day when perhaps sherlock just might. and he knows that there’s only one hope for that to become a reality.
